Our ultimate aim is to give you and your party the most fun, the most excitement and the best adventure that you have ever had!
If you don’t know what gorge walking is all about, then in a nutshell it is one of the best outdoor activities that you can do. Basically it involves your party scrambling up or down a gorge created by a river or stream.
Now this might seem quite tame but it is the natural features within the gorge that makes gorge walking so different.
All the rivers we operate in run through steep gorges which produce various natural challenges for your team to overcome.
These challenges can range from abseiling down 30 foot waterfalls, climbing up 15 to 20 foot waterfalls, jumping 26 foot into plunge pools and many other fun and thrilling activities along the way, making gorge walking a great outdoor activity for all abilities and ages.
You can go gorge-walking any time of year. We supply full wet suits and a complete set of waterproof clothing as well as all the necessary safety equipment.

Even though gorge walking in Wales is a hugely exciting outdoor activity we aim to make it as safe as possible.
All of our guides are highly experienced climbers as well as experts in gorge walking. We check out all the rivers that we operate on and we know all the Welsh and Brecon Beacon gorge walks inside out. We stick to having small group to guide ratios to give a better experience and the attention that you deserve.
Don’t feel intimidated by the photos, we always start gently and teach you all the gorge walking techniques that you need along the way. By the time you get to the larger climbs, abseils or jumps you will be more than ready for them and if you feel that you don’t want to do a certain challenge then you can simply walk around and rejoin the group to continue the gorge walk.
During the gorge walking we will be taking photos and videos of you and your party at all the best spots. We will then put some photos onto our Gorge Walking Wales Facebook Page and then send all the photos and videos to you by dropbox so that you can relive those moments again and again. If you want to bring your own cameras or go-pros then that will be fine but it is at your own risk.
